to buy a vehicle, and it can really hurt your chances of getting a good buy.

If you're interested, then you shouldn't make a decision

If the owner tells you he doesn't have the service record,
then something is pretty wrong here and you should back away immediately.

upkeep is a factor you definitely have to weigh too – you don't want to end up
making a purchase to have the truck stick to your garage as you have no budget
to keep it fueled.
